The weeklong Watches and Wonders event begins with a four-day industry portion, during which retailers, journalists, and horological professionals from around the world are welcomed into the show. After these first four days, the general public can buy admission tickets for the last three days, which typically lands on a weekend. Come the middle of November, there is a perceptible shift in the Colorado atmosphere. The entire state is poised on the verge of one of the most exciting parts of the year… the opening weekend of ski season, of course! Skiing is the major draw of the Aspen area, although this slice of Colorado is gorgeous year-round.
