The Tribeca Film Festival was founded in 2002 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff. The trio wanted to help revitalize the buoyancy and economic spirit of the Tribeca neighborhood after the fall of the twin towers on September 11, 2001. This year, the festival celebrated its 25th occurrence, emphasizing the ongoing strength and resilience of New Yorkers. For those who love soccer, an exciting event is on the horizon. The 2026 FIFA World Cup is kicking off on June 11 and is hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
