The 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards took place on October 5, 2023, in Coral Gables, Florida. The King of Latin Trap and 3-time Grammy Award winner Bad Bunny exuded nobility at the ceremony. He was nominated for 15 awards, tied for second-most nominations, and he performed his new song Un Preview to an exuberant crowd.

The Puerto Rican rapper and singer took home 7 awards, including the biggest prize of the evening, Artist of the Year. Bad Bunny promenaded down the blue carpet and took the stage in custom jewelry from Avi & Co. Most strikingly, he donned The Crown Chain and the Limited Edition Avi & Co. diamond-pave timepiece.

Avi & Co. Takes the 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards

Only twenty minutes from Coral Gables, Florida, it was no surprise that Avi & Co.’s Miami boutique drew out the stars. We hosted a private pre-party on October 4th for the Oasis Show with Nathy Peluso and Young Miko. Everyone in attendance was amazed by our superior service and merchandise, which is something that Avi & Co. has strived for since the beginning. Amongst the celebrities and honored guests that were in attendance included Bad Bunny himself.

At the Latin Music Awards, Bad Bunny made an illustrious entrance down the blue carpet dripping from head to toe in white gold diamond-pave earrings, rings, necklaces, three bracelets, and a belt chain all custom-made by Avi & Co. Everything worn throughout the night was high-quality, GIA certified.

The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph from our Miami boutique strutted down the blue carpet. The Avi & Co. watch made its majestic appearance during Bad Bunny’s hits-filled performance.

What was Bad Bunny Wearing Around His Neck?

Bad Bunny wore Avi & Co.’s diamond Crown Chain during the blue carpet and his acceptance speech for Artist of the Year. Avi Hiaeve, founder and CEO of Avi & Co., first wore The Crown Chain at his Miami Grand Opening.. He designed the extraordinary necklace with his team in just five weeks. Named The Crown Chain, it was a showstopper at Avi & Co.’s Miami Grand Opening.

Assembled with an assortment of round, asher, cushion, princess, pear, and emerald cuts, the diamonds weigh 210 carats. The chain consists of 32 large stones surrounded by approximately 6,200 round diamonds placed in flower settings. These certified GIA diamonds walked the Design District’s red carpet, and each stone shimmered with each paparazzi’s camera flash.

“The most challenging part about creating the necklace,” Avi said, “was the time. I was working on it 24/7 for five weeks straight. But we made it through, and it came out beautiful.”

The $7 million necklace matched the magnitude of the event. Bad Bunny had 3 different looks throughout the night: his white entrance ensemble, the overalls he sported during his performance, and the black turtleneck he wore during his biggest acceptance speech.

Throughout each outfit change, his Avi & Co. jewelry made him glow with magnanimity. Considering he also won Sales Song of the Year for ‘Tití Me Preguntó’, his Auntie will definitely be asking about all of his girlfriends after this!

What Watch Was Bad Bunny Wearing at the Premios Billboard de la Música Latina?

Bad Bunny wore the first-ever Limited Edition Avi & Co. timepiece around his wrist. The white gold AH00 prototype was equipped with a gorgeous graduating band. Similar to the AH10 which comes in white or rose gold with a domed bracelet, the AH00 has a 40 mm case with 88.87 ct. It retails for $275,000 and can be purchased by order only.

Avi & Co. drew inspiration from the legacy of a man who built his home from the ground up. Our in-house designer created the exclusive timepiece in 2021. The pattern on the bracelet mimics the house’s deck, and the dial caricatures the brick of the driveway. It’s a legacy that future generations can carry on.

Avi Hiaeve previewed the AH10 and AH17 at his Miami Grand Opening. Aside from Avi himself, Nicky Jam, J Balvin, and Jazz Limitless are amongst the celebrities who own an Avi & Co. timepiece. Former American boxer Floyd Mayweather owns two, both the white and rose gold versions of the 44 mm case. Bad Bunny is the first to wear the AH00.

Also from Avi & Co. was Bad Bunny’s blue carpet luxury watch, the extremely rare Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph (reference #25978BC). The 39 mm 18k white gold case is assembled with 892 brilliant-cut diamonds with a pave-diamond dial and Mother of Pearl sub-dials. The hour markers are set with eight brilliant-cut blue sapphires. It retails for $193,100.
