Watch Week Aspen 2025 Recap

Set within the vibrant Colorado mountain town known for its adventurous spirit and ritzy glamour, Watch Week Aspen is a must-see event for any horological aficionados. The event was designed to promote camaraderie and collaboration between Aspen’s robust population of watch enthusiasts, and there it offers an emphasis on fostering connections, expanding knowledge, and exploring the wares of the numerous watch vendors that line Aspen’s chic downtown shopping district.

Participating brands this year included powerhouses like Oliver Smith, Audemars Piguet, Avi & Co., Breguet, OMEGA, and many others. Many of these jewelers and watch sellers held special events at their boutiques, welcoming visitors and passersby into upscale environments to explore the latest and greatest in horology.

Of course, Avi & Co. Aspen could not miss out on the fun! We held our own special event during Watch Week Aspen, and there was a breathtaking surprise waiting for anyone who stopped by. Today, we are diving into all things Watch Week Aspen plus unveiling a bold new release that is sure to turn heads.

There are watch world events that take place around the globe, but Watch Week Aspen holds a special place in our hearts. Of course, there are larger celebrations of horology to be found: Think Watches and Wonders, Rolliefest, Dubai Watch Week, and others. But the magic of Watch Week Aspen is totally one-of-a-kind.

Part of its charm is the summertime setting in what is all too often considered a wintery city. But Aspen has a little secret: It does not shut down during the summer months. On the contrary, there are plenty of summer activities and events to enjoy in Aspen, and Watch Week is just one of many.

This year, the celebration took place from August 7 to 10, and there were countless panels, events, and shopping experiences to enjoy. A collaboration between Oliver Smith Jewelers and the Aspen Chamber of Commerce, Watch Week Aspen has quickly become a legend in its own right. It is meant to celebrate all things luxury watches and jewelry, and this year’s named partners (including Avi & Co. did not disappoint). Whether you were in Aspen for Watch Week or your visit simply happened to coincide with this exciting occurrence, there was tons of fun all around.

At Avi & Co. Aspen, we had the pleasure of hosting an exciting event in our boutique, located at 602 E. Cooper Street #104 in Aspen, Colorado. Visitors got the chance to stop in and check out all of our incredible timepieces, including hot picks from creators like Rolex, Richard Mille, Audemars Piguet, and Patek Philippe. But the true star of the show was our very own Avi & Co. watch lines and fine diamond jewelry, plus a special surprise that changed the entire look of the memorable Iced Collection.

Avi & Co. has long been a well-respected seller of luxury timepieces from the world’s most-loved brands. But in 2023, we branched out into something new: watch collections of our own! Our debt line, the Iced Collection, is a testament to everything that Avi & Co. stands for, exuding taste, beauty, luxury, and class from every angle.

The Iced Collection, as it was initially released, is completely decked out in gorgeous natural diamonds that cover the bracelet, dial, and bezel. It combines style and sparkle, standing out as one of the watch world’s hottest (and most expensive) pieces to date. It is available in a variety of different case sizes, measuring 37 mm, 40 mm, or 44 mm, in order to fit any wrist. And now, the Iced Collection is taking on a whole new level of flair.

At our Watch Week Aspen event, visitors got an advance look at a brand new collection. The Iced Collection: Color in Motion line turned heads and brought passersby in from the street to see what all the excitement was about. Everyone who stepped into the store got a colorful surprise. So what is the source of all this hype?

The Iced Collection: Color in Motion line is an offshoot of the original iced watch, introducing rubber straps that bring a sporty-chic aesthetic to this brilliant and memorable piece. Now, wearers can switch out their original diamond-set bracelet for a versatile, colorful strap available in seven different colors. Plus, there are straps for sale that work with every different size: 37 mm, 40 mm, and 44 mm. Want to take a closer look?

The Iced Collection: Color in Motion line is sold with the classic Iced Collection body as well as one of the seven different rubber strap options. Plus, you will get the diamond-studded buckle to match. Already own an Iced Collection watch? Do not worry, you can also buy the strap and buckle separately. The straps are easy to change out, and you can switch from the diamond bracelet to a rubber strap (and then to another color) at home! Of course, we can also do the swap for you in-store if you want a helping hand.

The straps come in 37mm, 40mm and 47mm to fit with all three sizes of the Iced Collection watches and both metals. You will also be able to get a buckle that matches the metal of your watch (either 18K white gold or 18K rose gold). Now, you can make your Iced Collection watch match whichever vibe you are looking to channel each day. You can even purchase a few different rubber strap options to customize your color on the regular.

Already, celebrities and fashion icons are loving the Iced Collection: Color in Motion straps. Puerto Rican rapper and singer Myke Towers left our store with a yellow strap Iced Collection watch that is sure to add some memorable bling to his collection. Camille Fishel, well-known model and wife of Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, showed off the Iced Collection watch with a white rubber strap when she graced the cover of Haute Living magazine. These two are just the beginning of what is sure to be an Iced Collection revolution, bringing color to life right before your eyes.

The only question that remains is, which color will you choose? Bold in black or ravaging in red? Avant garde in orange? What about a rosy pink or a pastel sky blue? There is no doubt that the launch of the Iced Collection: Color in Motion rubber straps was the highlight of our Watch Week Aspen event. But that is not all that occurred during this fun and exciting soirée at our Aspen store. We welcomed numerous visitors through our doors, helping them find memorable and valuable timepieces and jewelry that perfectly matched their style.

One visitor tried on both the Iced Collection: Color in Motion white band and the Hue Collection pink sapphire watch, which was the ideal complement to her all-out pink outfit. The Hue Collection is also available in red ruby, blue sapphire, and green tsavorite. In other words, it can match any aesthetic, preference, and style. Another attendee was loving the Diamonds by Avi & Co. jewelry collection and showed off a gorgeous diamond necklace that evoked timeless grandeur and sophistication.
