This piece is a rare gem, part of a limited edition collection. The iconic OMEGA Speedmaster, renowned for its role in all six moon landings, symbolizes both space exploration and OMEGA's spirit of innovation. In this 44.25 mm model, the Speedmaster's lunar legacy is commemorated with a blackened movement, meticulously laser-ablated to resemble the moon's surface. The near side is visible through the blackened skeletonized dial, while the far side can be admired through the case back. Presented on a perforated black leather strap with a yellow rubber interior, the entire watch is crafted from black ceramic, adorned with varnished yellow chronograph hands and a Super-LumiNova tachymeter scale. Housing the specially decorated movement is the OMEGA Calibre 1869, while the engravings on the caseback pay homage to the historic APOLLO 8 mission, with the inscriptions "DEC 1968," "DARK SIDE OF THE MOON," and "WE'LL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE."
